Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lime
  • 100 ml of water
  • 3 tbsp oil for sauteing
  • 1 lemongrass, bruised
  • 5 green chilies, oblique cut

Mashed Ingredients

  • 6 shallots
  • 3 garlic
  • 10 red chilies
  • 1 stem of basil
  • 1 tomato, cut into small pieces
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp salt

Complementary

  • Green lettuce
  • Coriander leaves

Steps

Marinate chicken thighs with 1 tsp salt and lime for 15 minutes.

Blend all the mashed ingredients. Heat the oil and saute all the mashed ingredients until fragrant.

Add chicken thighs, lemongrass, and green chili. Stir until half cooked.

Add water and boil it. Make sure the taste is good, then cook on medium heat until the gravy thickens. Don't forget to turn the chicken over so it doesn't burn.
