Ingredients

  • 300g chicken breast, cut into 1 cm thick
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp sweet sauce (kecap manis)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 3 tbsp oil for sauteing

Banjar Satay Seasoning

  • 12 red chilies, finely blended
  • 2 garlic, finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 3 tbsp sweet sauce (kecap manis)
  • 1 tbsp butter

Steps

Mix the chicken breast pieces, garlic powder, sweet sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir well and leave it for 15 minutes.

Saute the chicken in hot oil until golden brown, then put the chicken on a plate, and let it cool.

Sate Banjar Seasoning: Blend red chilies with a little water. After that, heat the butter in a saucepan, then add the blended red chilies along with the chopped garlic, tomato sauce, and sweet sauce. Stir well until thickened and make sure the taste is spicy and sweet.
