Easy to cook and delicious Roasted Chicken Salad.

Roasted Chicken Salad is a dish made from chicken marinated with salt, pepper, and other spices. This dish can be cooked by baking, sauteing, or frying. Baked chicken is usually healthier than fried chicken. Fried chicken is a typical Indonesian food that is often found in restaurants. For baked chicken, usually, the chicken is marinated first with herbs and spices, then put in the refrigerator. The marinade ingredients used to make Roasted Chicken Salad is salt, pepper, sesame oil, garlic powder, and coriander leaves. The chicken is soaked in the marinade sauce for a few minutes before baking it so that the spices are fully absorbed into the chicken. However, it's not just using roasting spit that you can do to get baked chicken. You can also use a skillet (non-stick pan) to bake chicken. Using medium heat, and adding a little oil to the skillet, you can put the seasoned chicken meat, then let it sit for a while until the chicken turns brown, but doesn't burn. If you have other seasonings or marinades, you can rub them over the surface of the chicken while it's baked in the skillet.   • 300g chicken breast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves (optional)


  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 4-5 pieces of green lettuce, cut into ½ cm thick
  • 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1-2 tbsp of tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • Mayonnaise



Slice the chicken breast as in the photo, then season it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, sesame oil, and coriander leaves (optional). Leave it for 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heating), then put the chicken breast in the oven, and roast for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
