This mouthwatering dish is all about good times and great flavors. With the finest ingredients and a sprinkle of kitchen creativity, our Farfalle Pasta with Sausages is a culinary adventure you won't want to miss. Farfalle pasta is used as the base of Farfalle Pasta with Sausages. It's a type of pasta known for its distinctive bowtie or butterfly shape. The pasta holds sauces and ingredients well, making it perfect for this dish. Sausages, often Italian-style sausages, are a key ingredient that adds savory and rich flavors to the dish. You can use sweet or spicy sausages, depending on your preference. Button mushrooms, also known as white mushrooms, are commonly used in Farfalle Pasta with Sausages. They have a mild flavor that complements the sausages and pasta nicely. Chopped onion and minced garlic are typically sauteed before adding the sausages and mushrooms. They add aromatic depth to the dish. You can add chopped parsley and sprinkle it on top before serving to add a pop of color and freshness. Farfalle Pasta with Sausages offers a delightful combination of flavors and textures, with the hearty sausage, earthy mushrooms, and tender pasta coming together in a harmonious way. It's a comforting and satisfying meal that's relatively easy to prepare.
Boil the Farfalle pasta until it's tender, and to prevent sticking, add 2-3 tbsp of oil into the water.
For the Sauce: Mix the milk, eggs, salt, ground nutmeg, pepper, and flour.
Heat up the butter and saute the chopped onions until they become fragrant.
Add the sausage pieces and button mushrooms to the pan. Cook them until they're cooked, then turn off the heat.
Preheat the oven to 180°C using top/bottom heating settings, also prepare a baking pan with size 22x11x5 cm (or similar size). Start layering the ingredients: First, put half of the Farfalle pasta, then add half of the sauteed sausage and mushroom, and sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top.
After that, put the remaining Farfalle pasta on top of the cheese.
Pour the prepared Sauce and add grated cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and finely chopped thyme or parsley.
Once the oven reaches 180°C with top/bottom heating, carefully place the pasta inside. Let it bake for 20-25 minutes until the surface turns a nice golden brown.
Once it's done, take the pasta out of the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes. Serve the Farfalle Pasta with Button Mushrooms and Sausages while still warm, and if you like, add tomato sauce or chili sauce as a delightful complement.
