Chicken Stew is a type of sweet soup which is well known in Indonesia. The sweet taste of the sauce is the hallmark of this chicken stew. Sweet sauce and sugar which makes the soup brown and sweet. For meat, you can use thinly cut chicken breast. The chicken meat is then marinated and sauteed until cooked. Complemented with potato and tomato slices to complement the chicken stew. Fry the potatoes until brown, then remove from heat.
Marinate the chicken breast with tamarind water and salt, leave it for 15 minutes.
Saute chicken breast until cooked, then remove from heat.
Saute the shallots with oil until fragrant.
Put in the chopped garlic, mix well.
Then add water, sauteed chicken breast, fried potatoes, tomatoes, and all the remaining ingredients. Bring it to a boil, make sure it tastes good.
Serve the chicken stew while it's warm.
