Easy to cook and delicious Chicken Cordon Bleu.

Cordon bleu or Schnitzel Cordon Bleu is meat-filled with ham and cheese, then coated with breadcrumbs and fried. In French terms, cordon bleu can be interpreted as a blue ribbon. Blue ribbon or blue sash is usually worn by members of the highest knights. The term is also applied to food that is prepared with a high standard. Cordon Bleu is different from Chicken Kiev. Chicken Kiev is a dish consisting of fillet chicken that is pounded flat, filled with cold butter, coated with egg and breadcrumbs, then fried or grilled. The main difference is in the filling. Chicken kiev is stuffed with cold butter, while Cordon bleu is stuffed with ham and cheese. Apart from that, the method of making these two dishes is very similar. Cordon bleu is made from pounded chicken and stuffed with a slice of ham and cheese, coated in breadcrumbs, and then fried or grilled. The meats that can be used to make cordon bleu are chicken, beef, and pork. For chicken, usually use chicken breast, and for the filling, it can be ham, cheese, or other meat. The way to get the ham and cheese into the chicken breast is to make a small slit from the tip to the inside of the chicken breast. For cheese, you can use either cheddar or mozzarella cheese.
